The Zuri Stories

Imani’s children’s books feature stories designed to celebrate the wonder of childhood and the many possibilities waiting to be discovered.

Her first book, Zuri’s Magic Mirror, follows a young girl who discovers that a magical mirror can show her countless versions of who she might become. As Zuri sees herself as an astronaut, ballerina, doctor, queen, and superhero, she discovers an important truth: the greatest magic isn’t in the mirror—it is already inside her.

Through the Zuri stories, Imani hopes to create a collection of books that children can return to again and again—stories that make them smile, spark their imaginations, and remind them that there is no limit to what they can dream.
